    This is a delicious shared boutique tour filled with amazing food and wine – it’s just fabulous! Not only do you get to try the best wines of Waiheke, but you will also get to taste delicious food prepared by the vineyards to match the wine.

    Please catch the 10 am ferry from Auckland to Waiheke Island. Your experienced tour guide will be waiting at Matiatia, and there will be a welcome board with your name on it.

    After a scenic 20-minute drive, during which you can enjoy the stunning views and commentary about the island, its people, and unique culture, we will arrive at our first stop - Casita Miro, a Mediterranean vineyard with a Spanish-style. Here, you can sample their delicious wines and delightful food pairings. Along the way, you'll be able to take in the beautiful views that lead out to the Coromandel and the Whangaparoa Peninsula.

    After Casita Miro, we have a 20 mins stop at the Waihekeana store to taste and purchase Waiheke Honey and Olive Oils, at the store, you have a chance also to purchase gifts we have an array of Waiheke arts and crafts and jewelry.

    Then on to the gorgeous award-winning Stonyridge Vineyard where you will receive a glass of wine to enjoy with your exquisite platter for lunch, at this stop, you will spend around 1.5 hours here to soak up the vibe.

    Experience the grand finale at one of the most magnificent vineyards on Waiheke Island, The Batch Winery. This vineyard is truly breathtaking with its stunning 360-degree views of Auckland and the Hauraki Gulf, extending out to The Coromandel. Savour the exquisite taste of Chardonnay, Syrah and Pinot Gris expertly paired with small tasters that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy..

    We will take you back to the 430pm ferry if you wish to leave the Island. We are also happy to drop you off at Oneroa (the main village), where you can continue on to the island and have dinner or just look around the shops and the cafes. The ferry operates round-the-clock, with the final ferry departing for Auckland at Midnight. So why not extend your stay and make the most of your time here?

    • The tour will start at 10:40am from the Matiatia ferry terminal on Waiheke Island. Please be on time!
    • The first tasting is at 11.30 am.


    PLEASE NOTE:

    • This tour isn’t suitable for Coeliac diet requirements. Please advise of any dietaries at the time of the booking.
    • If you have a non-drinker with you, they will be charged the same price as everyone else and will still be able to enjoy all of the food as well as a non-alcoholic drink.
    • This tour is unsuitable for children; if you would like to do this tour privately, you can just email me.

    GETTING THE FERRY FROM AUCKLAND DOWNTOWN FERRY TERMINAL.


    An alternative to waiting in line is to book a ferry in advance. You can make a reservation here: www.islanddirect.co.nz. This way, you are guaranteed to be on time with no waiting in long queues. This is a bookable ferry service!


    If you plan to take the Fullers ferries to Waiheke, which operate on a first-come-first-served basis, we recommend that you arrive at the terminal at least 60 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. This will allow you enough time to navigate through the terminal and board the ferry to Waiheke Island. Please note that queues can be long, and the ferries operate on a first-come-first-served basis, so it is important to arrive early to secure your spot. 

    Your ferry is scheduled to depart at 10am. Please be advised that ferry transfers will be at your own expense.
